Community

We believe in giving back to the local community. Our focus for 2014 was to help recent college graduates (e.g., University of Economics, Ho Chi Minh City) refine their resumes and improve their interviewing skills through interview role-playing and feedback. For 2015, we helped local college student (e.g., Foreign Trade University) entrepreneurs pair their offered services with local businesses. In 2016, we helped Vietnamese college students (e.g., University of California, Davis and Carroll University) refine their startup ideas for execution. The year 2017, we supported young Vietnamese professionals (e.g., graduates of the Academy of Journalism and Communications) apply for the U.S. Fulbright Scholars program by reviewing their application materials (study objectives and personal statements).

In the past, our team members have supported Locks of Love and Pantene Pro-V’s Beautiful Lengths program as well as Habitat for Humanity.

We hire based on the needs of the organization and look for applicants with a specific hiring mindset*:

1) Willingness to learn and determined to not give up

2) Questing: those eager to accept an unforeseen challenge in the daily processes of professional life

3) Connecting: once the challenge has been encountered, reaching out to those who might be able to help overcome the challenge and then once the solution has been found, sharing that solution with others
